...........Special New Editions..............Maggie Creates New Dolls.............Special New Editions..............
After the arrival of Virginia in the stores and while Maggie waits for the pieces of The Brides gown from the cutting room she ponders upon new colors and textures....and always creating something new!
Working in a studio in her home in the suburbs of Philadelphia Maggie spends her days amongst fabrics. For the past thirty years we have watched her become inspired by her senses of color and touch.
At first you might be drawn in by the colors she has chosen and then the innocent face will bring you even closer. The detail of each outfit may amaze you and then you will feel the warmth of the cloth she chose and how it all comes together. The soft colors, the textures of felts and silks, and the delight in the expressive faces, all begin filling your senses and warming your soul.
Now she has added 'Grace' and 'Alice' and of course they have that Maggie touch!

Gracie
What can you say about a doll when it is all in her name? Gracie is just that. You can see it in her expression, there is a kind and gentle little girl pleased that she has made you smile. No matter what pose you chose for her she will always show you her sweet smile and love having you play with her. The shades of periwinkle in her costume are enhanced with deep purple touches of color from her buttons down to her suede shoes. The lattice cut into her skirt highlights the garden of silk and felt florals around it. She just can't help herself, she's Gracie. |

Maggie at Longwood
The day was one of magic and flowers shared with our collectors. We let them know they are more than collectors, they are patrons of the arts. Patrons that allow us to do what we love most...make dolls. |
Special Guests
We were honored to have special guests at our first annual Maggie at Longwood event. |
Reverse Raffle Fun
The evening was fun playing a reverse raffle where everyone won something and the last one standing took home the number one in a five piece edition of Alicia created just for the event. Observing the Longwood Gardens fountain display capped off a magnificent day! |

Stepping out of the forest and into your fantasies.
Rhea stand 16 1/2" tall and the colors will astound you. There is a hint of blue in her skin tone and the hand painted cotton gauze skirt take the blues and stirs them with shades of greens that are reflected in her leafy jacket. Magical airy wings seem to let Rhea take flight off her felt covered stand. Only one, Rhea.
