Rachael wears her hooded parka every chance she gets because it feels like sunshine on a rainy day. Her parka is made with 100% wool felt in a navy blue with a red silk lining. The floral design is hand-dyed, airbrushed embroidered applique of individual pieces to give the illusion of a pattern. The warm yellow, mauve, and cherry colors pop in contrast against the dark background. The lush greenery and hand-painted details of the flowers give the coat its vibrancy.
Rachael has straight red mohair cut shoulder length that is complemented by her outfit. Rachael's sleeveless dress has a lowered waistline and is made of red hand-dyed raw silk whose texture contrasts with the silk lining of her parka. She wears mauve knee socks and black maryjanes with gold buckles. Everywhere Rachael goes she brings a bounty of nature's colors.
Each of Maggie's dolls is created from wool felt and can be repositioned in endless poses using her unique ball-jointed system. Hips, knees, and even the ankles are ball-jointed to allow the doll to take a particular stance or expressive mood to interact with the other dolls in your collection and more important interact with you, the collector.The head is completely moveable, enabling the doll to cast her glance in several directions. Each finger is wired, which enables the doll to be manipulated in just the right way to suggest a feeling, or hold an accessory.
