Beginning a New Year
With more dolls of course!
Seeing the last of the 2020 dolls boxed and shipped gives us a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. You would think it was time to relax and take a few deep breaths. And that's just what we did. And then UFDC planning their convention in July has asked us to do a meal event which means souvenir dolls and Companions/Centerpiece dolls as well!
That means there's mold making to do, fingers to sew and turn, bodies to assemble and of course laundry. (There's always laundry! Laundry is eternal. I believe there will be laundry in heaven. And if it is going to be lots of white robes then there better be clorox, that's all I have to say. (Can you tell I do the laundry? lol)
I hope by this summer that we are all a bit calmer and more secure about being together. Maggie and I really miss being with our patrons. We love seeing the expressions on their faces and hearing their comments when they visit us and enjoy what new work we brought with us to convention.
We are holding off planning our own 12th annual Longwood Garden party and will update you when Longwood has opened its facilities for our event. We would love to do it this fall if at all possible.
Thank you for all your support and take good care, Maggie and Tony
P.S. Wash your hands, wear your mask, and get in line for that vaccine!
